What is a texture and what is it for?
A texture is an image which is used in a video game to cover all of the surfaces like floors, ceilngs, and walls (as well as everything else you can see). Textures add detail and color to a level in a video game.

Are your textures available for public use?
Yes. This website's original purpose was to distribute my textures so other people can use them freely. All I ask is that you credit me in the readme or somewhere similar if you use any of my textures.

How long does it take to make a texture?
That really depends. Some textures take as little as 5 minutes to create, while others may take well over an hour. Varying levels of detail and difficulty make it hard to approximate this time.

Do you make custom textures?
Generally the answer is no. However, if you wish to post suggestions for textures on the suggestion
forum, then I may get around to making what you suggest.

How do I download your textures?
In most web browsers, simply right click on the texture and click "save picture as..." (or something similar). If this doesn't seem to work for you, please
e-mail me, and I'll try to assist you.

What do you use to make your textures?
Paint Shop Pro 7.04 by
Jasc Software

Can I edit your textures before I use them?
Yes. If you edit my texture though, I still expect due credit in the readme. If you don't know how to edit them yourself, you can try posting on the
forums.

Would you like to join my project?
Probably not. I'm sorry, but I'm a very busy man, and the number of offers I recieve is simply staggering. Don't take it personally, I just don't have time to work on everyone's projects.

Can you make me a winamp skin?
No. Winamp skins take a long time to make, and not very many people make custom ones. I simply don't have the amount of time it takes to make one for everyone.

Can you make me a webpage?
No. I don't have time to. Making a webpage takes an awefully long time, and I don't have any time to spare.

Who hosts your website?
GNXonline.

What is the meaning behind your nickname?
It's a long story. Read about it
here.

How do I convert this texture to a .mat?
Well, go to
this page and download Mat16, and you'll be on your way! If you need more help, go here

What did you use to make your site?
Originally Notepad, for the HTML, and Paint Shop Pro for the graphics. Now I use Homesite 1.2 to edit the html.

Can I post a link to your site on mine?
Please do, as long as your site is appropriate!
E-mail me if you link to my site, and I'll link to yours as well!

In what games can I use these textures?
Any game that supports custom textures, such as Jedi Knight, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, or Jedi Outcast.

Can you teach me how to make textures?
No, but I can point you in the right direction.
Here, you can find a texture tutorial authored by someone much better than myself.

How long have you been editing games?
I entered the
Massassi community in February of 2000, and began editing Jedi Knight shortly after.

What's your favorite JK level?
I don't really have one, but I highly recommend all the level packs released by
The Massassi Temple
