A portfolio of free textures, 3d models, Jedi Knight levels, and other miscellaneous things.     Thursday, December 19, 2002 I had brain surgery I know it's been a long time since last time I updated my site, but with good reason. On December 2nd, I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. After tons of tests and stuff, I underwent an extensive brain surgery called an awake cranial on December 6th. This surgery means that I was awake for the vital part of the operation, and I was instructed to identify about 40 pictures on a laptop. Some for the pictures were things like a frog, basketball, sink, lion, violin, fly and other such images. I've been told that I did a very good job, and the surgery was a huge success - 90% or more of the tumor was removed! The next steps of the treatment will be radiation followed by chemotherapy. Some things like typing are hard right now, but the doctors say that I should recover full. I'll be back with more news sometime, but until then I'll show a picture of my battle scars. Click to see my scars. I had 50 titanium staples in my head, and I even got to have 4 titanium plates screwed into my cranium. Fun stuff! :)   -MaDaVentor     Wednesday, November 20, 2002 Health Problems I have had a horrendous migraine (or series of them... I'm not really sure what's going on) for the past 5 days. It hasn't been fun, and I pray that I'll get better soon. I apologize, but I can't create textures when I feel this way, it's all I can do to keep my my eyes open (when I can even manage to do that)...
